Little Cayman is one of the last ‘undeveloped’ Islands in the Caribbean. It is ‘what isn’t here’ that makes us unique. No shopping malls, movie theaters, or amusement parks can be found here. What can be found here is World Class snorkeling and diving at Bloody Bay Wall, miles of deserted beaches, native iguanas that out number residents, bird life that draws birdwatchers from around world, and fantastic fishing ranging from Deep Sea fishing for Marlin to fishing for bonefish from the beach right in front of the Villas. Little Cayman also stands out because along with everything that ‘is and isn’t here’; guests can expect a well stocked grocery store, good drinking water, and a safe, friendly environment. Boasting a permanent population of less than 150, Little Cayman is like a small town with a tropical twist!

Our twelve oceanfront villas are located a mere 50 feet from the Sea. They each feature a large front and back porch, air conditioning, and a kitchenette equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, as well as necessary kitchen dishes and utensils. The well stocked grocery store is a 2 minute walk from the resort. By preparing breakfast and possibly some other meals in your villa, you can avoid having to purchase expensive all inclusive meal plans. This can significantly lower the cost of your holiday. There are bicycles available to tour the Island (the preferred mode of travel) and of course, there are siesta friendly hammocks at the water’s edge.

The Hungry Iguana Restaurant is the only a la carte restaurant on Little Cayman and it is also the only restaurant with seaside dining. You do not need reservations and there is no bell that rings telling you that it is time to eat (like the other resorts with meal plans). The ‘Iggy’ has a full Lunch and Dinner menu as well as nightly specials. Fare ranges from local (fish and seafood) to traditional items (steak, soups, salads, sandwiches). You can eat on the large outdoor patio or inside the air conditioned dining room. The Bar is open from noon until late each day and it has satellite TV on Little Cayman’s only big screen.

The diving and snorkeling around Little Cayman and especially in the Bloody Bay Marine Park is world renowned. Bloody Bay and Jackson’s Bay dive sites start in as little as 15 feet of water and the diving conditions are typically excellent. This makes diving here good for both beginners and advanced divers. All of the diving publications (including Undercurrent) rate the diving here as tops in the Caribbean region year after year. Our affiliation with Conch Club Divers is a turnkey service, divers are picked up and are dropped off right at their villa. They have one of the largest and fastest dive boats on the Island (Sea-esta) and their dive staff have been here on Little Cayman for many years. Top quality service with top quality diving makes diving with us a ‘must’ on your list of dive places to go in the World. Snorkelers are welcome on the dive boat space permitting.

This web site has much more detailed information on each page. Most importantly, the Guest book also includes testimonials from our past guests including many who visit us each year.

If you are looking for an economical way to visit Little Cayman, we are confident that Paradise Villas is the place for you.

We just returned from our third trip to Paradise Villas. As usual Marc and Sabine were great, always helpful and ready with answers to all our questions. Villas were well kept and had everything we needed. We enjoyed lunch and dinner at the Hungry Iguana.
We dove every day with Ann and Tim from Conch Club Divers, and the diving as usual was excellent. They picked us up promptly every morning and helped us with everything we needed. They were great divemasters and were always eager to share their knowledge of the reefs as well as the island. We will definitely return to Paradise Villas and Conch Club Divers.

Boston Bruin Great Rick Middleton Nets a
Stellar Vacation in Little Cayman

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (March 19, 2008) National Hockey League legend Rick Middleton scored himself the perfect vacation getaway: Little Cayman, Cayman Islands. Middleton, an avid Scuba diving enthusiast, visited the island in January and stayed at Paradise Villas. Middleton, now an analyst with NESN (New England Sports Network), experienced the trip of a lifetime.

Rick played for the Boston Bruins of the NHL for 14 years. During his time in the league, he was chosen to play in three All-Star games, won the Lady Byng trophy for sportsmanship in 1982, and was co-captain of the Bruins with Ray Bourque in 1985 and ’86. He retired with 448 goals and 540 assists for 988 points in 1005 games, and added 100 points in 114 playoff games.
“When I first checked out Paradise Villas website I knew this was the place for me! The villa was so close to the ocean, all I had to do was open my back door and watch the waves break 20 feet from my deck! I was able to take part in some amazing scuba diving and the instructors made a novice like me feel like a seasoned pro,” said Middleton. “Don’t think I’ll be taking anymore ‘all-inclusive’ vacations anymore – I’ve found my paradise.”

While not exploring Little Cayman’s underwater beauty, Middleton was even able to catch a little hockey.
"The last thing I expected I'd be able to do on my Scuba diving trip to Little Cayman last month was watch the Boston Bruins and NY Rangers play two crucial games against each other. To my surprise, I caught both games on TV at the Hungry Iguana Restaurant which was conveniently located about 100 yards from my room at Paradise Villas! Where else could a good Canadian go to get world class Scuba Diving, and never miss a game on Hockey Night?”
Middleton is already planning his return trip to Little Cayman in June and plans on bringing some NHL alums with him.
